Our Practice

The Neuro-Laser Foundation (NLF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives of those distraught with various symptoms resulting from traumatic brain injury (TBI).

INNOVATION
Building onto more than 30 years of studying the effects of infrared light on cells and tissues, we are advancing technology and treatment approaches that have increased quality of life factors for people impacted by traumatic brain injury.

One modality uses infrared light at specific frequencies, which can promote the healing and growth of damaged or injured cells. Unfortunately, until our recent patent-pending innovation, infrared light was used in a manner that was too weak to induce changes in the human brain with lasting benefit. Our recent research has pointed the way to new clinical applications and new techniques. With our approach that applies light to damaged brain cells, patients are reporting remarkable results.

CLINICAL EXPERTISE
Founders of the Neuro-Laser Foundation collectively bring more than 60 years of experience treating brain disorders, and are highly-regarded in the profession. Our patients with TBI include veterans, sports figures, young people, and the elderly. Our NLF clinics offer comprehensive treatment programs for TBI, with near infrared light therapy (NILT), nutritional support, nootropics, hyperbaric oxygen treatment, physical education, and acupuncture. With our customized approach, we address symptoms and help those with brain injury to learn how to live with their disability. But most importantly, our goal is:

To help restore neurological function

to the highest degree possible.

RESEARCH
The Neuro-Laser Foundation has ongoing research studies on the application of NILT for the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD and other neurological disorders. Collaborative multi-center trials with major universities are soon to begin. Two major research papers were published in August 2015 and another is coming out in the Fall of 2015. Co-Founder Dr. Theodore Henderson has extensively studied and published more than 25 paper regarding brain imaging, pharmacology, innovative treatment strategies, and Psychiatry. Dr. Larry Morries specializes in the application of NILT and has researched the treatment of low back pain, shoulder injury, and, of course, the brain.
